The Learning Center welcomes ITCAP to Southern Nevada!
The Industry Training Credit Approval Process ( ITCAP), is the product of a long-standing relationship between The Learning Center and the leadership of the ITCAP organization. Through the ITCAP program, Pima Community College (PCC) of Tucson Arizona grants college credits to students who successfully complete coursework leading to both technical and non-technical computer certifications.
ITCAP brings private industry and public education together to complement each other. ITCAP makes it possible to connect college credit with commercial training and in-turn makes it possible for this training to qualify for tuition reimbursement. In a survey conducted by Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine, 77% of the respondents indicated that they would like to earn college credits for their Microsoft certifications. ITCAP eliminates the question of earning a college degree or certification -- now you can have both!
PCC has developed a number of Business and Industry Technology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree tracks and certificates based on ITCAP approved courses.
The Learning Center is the Authorized ITCAP Center (AIC) for Southern Nevada. We’ve met the requirements to be an AIC and must strictly adhere to the guidelines covering curriculum, instructors, classroom facilities, student support, assessment, marketing and administration.
The ITCAP program thoroughly meets the needs of businesses, training centers, and students, while simultaneously satisfying academic standards set by Pima Community College.
Feel free to visit their website,
it’s, you can review course
offerings, AAS degrees, and FAQs (no password is required for these
areas).
I look forward to meeting with you to discuss the ITCAP program and how it can benefit your company by increasing employee development, retention, and morale by earning college credit for work-related training.
